Maillette dried lavender bundles. This variety dries a distinctive purple color, making it great for table arrangements or crafts. It has a traditional lavender scent. Approximately 50+ stems per bundle and 12”-16” in height. This lavender was grown, harvested and dried at our small family farm outside Ann Arbor, MI.
French lavender cultivar ‘Maillette,’ produces a classic lavender essential oil defined by effervescent floral refinement. This refined character comes from consistently high levels of the defining lavender compounds linalool (27.23 – 41.17%) and linalyl acetate (33.27 – 41.55%) which together consistently account for between 70 and 75% of Maillette’s total oil chemistry. Maillette, as with all our L. angustifolia oil, displays negligible levels of the sharper camphor and 1.8 cineole compounds and does not challenge any expectations for those wanting the ‘classic lavender’ fragrance. Please crush to release the scent as it will not permeate the space as strongly as other lavender types.
